Pemanduan kenderaan yang dinyatakan dalam ruang (2) Jadual Pertama, di atas bahagian jalan yang dinyatakan dalam ruang (1) Jadual Pertama sebagaimana yang ditunjukkan dalam peta dalam Jadual Kedua, berkuat kuasa pada 6 April 2026, dilarang.

Pengecualian daripada larangan itu hendaklah diberikan bagi maksud dan dalam hal keadaan yang dinyatakan dalam Jadual Ketiga.

PENGECUALIAN

1.

Bagi maksud penyelenggaraan, pembaikan, peningkatan, pembersihan dan pemugaran bahagian jalan yang dinyatakan dalam ruang (1) Jadual Pertama.

2.

Bagi maksud pemacakan, pemasangan, penyelenggaraan, pengubahan atau pengalihan mana-mana struktur, kerja, peralatan atau apa-apa benda di dalam, pada, di bawah atau di atas bahagian jalan yang dinyatakan dalam ruang (1) Jadual Pertama.

3.

Bagi maksud perkhidmatan kecemasan dan penguatkuasaan oleh agensi Kerajaan dan pihak berkuasa tempatan.

4.

Bagi maksud pemeriksaan, pembuangan dan penghantaran sisa domestik oleh kenderaan berat seperti lori sampah, lori pembersihan pembetungan dan lori vakum pembetungan.

5.

Bagi maksud kecemasan, jika penggunaan mana-mana jalan selain yang terdapat dalam koordinat yang dinyatakan dalam ruang (1) Jadual Pertama menjadi mustahil atau tidak sesuai.

6.

Bagi maksud pengangkutan awam.

ROAD TRANSPORT ACT 1987

ROAD TRANSPORT (PROHIBITION OF USE OF ROAD)

(FEDERAL ROADS) (NO. 3) ORDER 2026

WHEREAS by P.U. (B) 113/2026 published on 18 March 2026, notice was given of the intention to make an order under section 70 of the Road Transport Act 1987

[Act 333]:

AND WHEREAS no objection was received by the Minister of Works against the making of such order:

NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 70 of the Act, the Minister of Works, after taking into consideration the matters referred to in subsection 70(2) of the Act, makes the following order:

Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Road Transport (Prohibition of Use of Road) (Federal Roads) (No. 3) Order 2026.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 6 April 2026.

Prohibition 2.

The driving of vehicles specified in column (2) of the First Schedule, on the part of the road specified in column (1) of the First Schedule as shown on the map in the Second Schedule, with effect from 6 April 2026, is prohibited.

Exemption 3.

Exemption from such prohibition shall be given for the purposes and in the circumstances specified in the Third Schedule.

SECOND SCHEDULE

THIRD SCHEDULE

EXEMPTION

1.

For the purposes of maintenance, repair, improvement, cleaning and clearance of the part of the road specified in column (1) of the First Schedule.

2.

For the purposes of erection, installation, maintenance, alteration or removal of any structure, works, apparatus or any thing in, on, under or over the part of the road specified in column (1) of the First Schedule.

3.

For the purposes of emergency services and enforcement by the Government agencies and local authorities.

4.

For the purposes of checking, disposal and delivery of domestic waste by heavy vehicle such as garbage truck, sewerage cleaning truck and sewerage vacuum truck.

5.

For the purposes of emergency, if the use of any road other than which appears in the coordinates specified in column (1) of the First Schedule is rendered impossible or unsuitable.

6.

For the purposes of public transport.
