Opening note

Preamble

BAHAWASANYA, melalui Pemberitahuan No. 212/1970 yang disiarkan dalam Warta Kerajaan Negeri Selangor pada 9 April 1970, pada menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh seksyen 62 Kanun Tanah Negara [Akta 56/1965] dan diwakilkan kepadanya oleh Duli Yang Maha Mulia Raja dalam Majlis, sebagaimana dalam Pemberitahuan Undangan Negeri Selangor No. 14 pada 24 Mac 1966, Menteri Besar Selangor telah mengisytiharkan bahawa petak tanah yang terletak di Bandar Kuala Lumpur, yang diperihalkan dalam Jadual dan ditandakan di atas pelan ukur hasil No. C.P. 25,490 yang disimpan di pejabat Ketua Juruukur Selangor, menjadi suatu rizab bagi maksud kawasan lapang yang dikawal oleh Pesuruhjaya, Ibu Kota Kuala Lumpur; DAN BAHAWASANYA, melalui P.U. (B) 108/2003 yang disiarkan dalam Warta Kerajaan Persekutuan pada 3 Mac 2003, Kerajaan Persekutuan telah mewakilkan penjalanan kuasanya di bawah seksyen 64 Kanun Tanah Negara kepada Jawatankuasa Kerja Tanah Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur: DAN BAHAWASANYA, adalah didapati suai manfaat sekarang oleh Jawatankuasa Kerja Tanah Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur supaya keseluruhan perizaban yang disebut terdahulu itu dibatalkan: MAKA OLEH YANG DEMIKIAN, Jawatankuasa Kerja Tanah Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, pada menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 64(1) Kanun Tanah Negara yang diberikan kepada Kerajaan Persekutuan dan diwakilkan kepadanya, memberikan notis di bawah subseksyen 64(2) Kanun Tanah Negara mengenai cadangan untuk membatalkan keseluruhan perizaban yang disebut terdahulu itu sebagaimana yang diperihalkan dalam Jadual dan bahawa mana-mana orang yang berhasrat untuk membantah terhadap pembatalan itu akan didengar oleh Pentadbir Tanah Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur dalam suatu siasatan yang akan diadakan di Pejabat Pengarah Tanah dan Galian Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Tingkat 2, 3, P.U. (B) 536 3 dan 4, Rumah Persekutuan, Jalan Sultan Hishamuddin, Kuala Lumpur pada pukul 10.00 pagi pada 24 Disember 2014.

NATIONAL LAND CODE

NOTICE OF PROPOSED REVOCATION OF RESERVATION OF LAND

FOR PUBLIC PURPOSE

WHEREAS, by Notification No. 212/1970 published in the Selangor Government Gazette on 9 April 1970, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 62 of the

National Land Code [Act 56/1965] and delegated to him by His Highness the Ruler in

Council vide Sl. P.U. 14 on 24 March 1966, the Menteri Besar of Selangor has proclaimed that the parcel of land situated in the Town of Kuala Lumpur, described in the Schedule and delineated upon revenue survey plan No. C.P. 25,490 deposited in the office of the

Chief Surveyor Selangor to be a reserve for the purpose of open space and controlled by the Commissioner, Federal Capital Kuala Lumpur;

AND WHEREAS, by P.U. (B) 108/2003 published in the Gazette of the Government of the Federation on 3 March 2003, the Government of the Federation has delegated the exercise of its powers under section 64 of the National Land Code to the Land Executive

Committee of the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur:

AND WHEREAS, it now appears expedient to the Land Executive Committee of the

Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur that the whole of the aforesaid reservation be revoked:

NOW THEREFORE, the Land Executive Committee of the Federal Territory of

Kuala Lumpur, in exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 64(1) of the National

Land Code conferred upon the Government of the Federation and delegated to it, gives notice under subsection 64(2) of the National Land Code of the proposal to revoke the whole of the aforesaid reservation as described in the Schedule and that any person who desires to object against such revocation will be heard by the Land Administrator of the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur at an enquiry to be held at the Office of

Director of Lands and Mines of the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Floors, Federal House, Jalan Sultan Hishamuddin, Kuala Lumpur at 10.00 a.m.

on 24 December 2014.
