- PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh seksyen 3 Akta Penjara 1995 [Akta 537], dibaca bersama subseksyen 13(2) Akta Pencegahan Keganasan 2015 [Akta 769], Menteri mengisytiharkan kawasan dan semua bangunan yang dikelilingi pagar dawai berangkai yang terletak di atas Lot 868, Mukim Kamunting, Daerah Larut Matang, Taiping, Perak dan yang dinamakan sebagai “Tempat Tahanan Khas, Kamunting, Perak” sebagai tempat tahanan bagi penahanan orang dalam jagaan yang sah berkuat kuasa mulai 15 Januari 2017. - IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Prison Act 1995 [Act 537], read together with subsection 13(2) of the Prevention of Terrorism Act 2015 [Act 769], the Minister declares the area and all buildings surrounded by chain-link fences situated on Lot 868, Mukim Kamunting, Daerah Larut Matang, Taiping, Perak and designated as “Special Detention Centre, Kamunting, Perak” to be a place of detention for the detention of persons lawfully in custody with effect from 15 January 2017.
