Opening note

Preamble

BAHAWASANYA, melalui Pemberitahuan No. 55/1911 yang disiarkan dalam Warta Kerajaan Negeri-Negeri Melayu Bersekutu pada 6 Januari 1911, pada menjalankan kuasa yang terletak hak padanya oleh seksyen 8 Enakmen Tanah 1903, Residen British Selangor telah mengisytiharkan bahawa petak tanah yang terletak di mukim Kuala Lumpur, seperti yang diperihalkan dalam Jadual dan ditandakan di atas pelan ukur hasil No. 7,776, yang disimpan di Pejabat Penguasa Hasil Ukur, Selangor, menjadi satu rizab bagi maksud Rizab Kuari yang disenggarakan oleh pegawai yang dilantik pada masa itu untuk menjalankan tugas Jurutera Negeri, Selangor: DAN BAHAWASANYA, melalui P.U. (B) 108/2003 yang disiarkan dalam Warta Kerajaan Persekutuan pada 3 Mac 2003, Kerajaan Persekutuan telah mewakilkan penjalanan kuasanya di bawah seksyen 64 Kanun Tanah Negara kepada Jawatankuasa Kerja Tanah Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur: DAN BAHAWASANYA, didapati suai manfaat sekarang oleh Jawatankuasa Kerja Tanah Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur supaya keseluruhan perizaban yang disebut terdahulu itu dibatalkan: DAN BAHAWASANYA, notis mengenai cadangan untuk membatalkan keseluruhan perizaban yang disebut terdahulu itu yang diperihalkan dalam Jadual bersama dengan butir-butir mengenai masa dan tempat di mana suatu siasatan akan diadakan oleh Pentadbir Tanah Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur di Pejabat Pengarah Tanah dan Galian Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, untuk mendengar mana-mana orang yang berhasrat untuk membantah terhadap pembatalan itu telah ditampalkan mengikut seksyen 433 Kanun Tanah Negara dan juga telah disiarkan dalam Warta Kerajaan Persekutuan sebagai P.U. (B) 388/2016 pada 30 Ogos 2016: 3 DAN BAHAWASANYA, tiada apa-apa bantahan diterima terhadap cadangan untuk membatalkan keseluruhan perizaban yang disebut terdahulu itu yang diperihalkan dalam Jadual: MAKA OLEH YANG DEMIKIAN, Jawatankuasa Kerja Tanah Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, pada menjalankan kuasa di bawah seksyen 64 Kanun Tanah Negara yang diberikan kepada Kerajaan Persekutuan dan diwakilkan kepadanya sebagaimana yang disebut terdahulu, membatalkan perizaban tanah yang diperihalkan dalam Jadual:

NATIONAL LAND CODE

REVOCATION OF RESERVATION OF LAND FOR PUBLIC PURPOSE

WHEREAS, by Notification No. 55/1911 published in the Government Gazette of the

Federated Malay State on 6 January 1911, in exercise of the powers vested in him by section 8 of the Land Enactment 1903, the British Resident of Selangor has proclaimed that the parcel of land situated in the mukim of Kuala Lumpur, described in the Schedule hereto and delineated upon revenue survey plan No. 7,776, deposited in the

Office of the Superintendent of Revenue Surveys, Selangor, to be a reserve for the purpose of a Quarry Reserve to be maintained by the officer for the time being holding the appointment of State Engineer, Selangor:

AND WHEREAS, by P.U. (B) 108/2003 published in the Gazette of the

Government of the Federation on 3 March 2003, the Government of the Federation has delegated the exercise of its powers under section 64 of the National Land Code to the Land Executive Committee of the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur:

AND WHEREAS, it now appears expedient to the Land Executive Committee of the

Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur that the whole of the aforesaid reservation be revoked:

AND WHEREAS, notice of the proposal to revoke the whole of the aforesaid reservation as described in the Schedule together with details of the time and place at which an enquiry would be held by the Land Administrator of the Federal Territory of

Kuala Lumpur at the Office of Director of Lands and Mines of the Federal Territory of

Kuala Lumpur, to hear any person desiring to object to such revocation was affixed in accordance with section 433 of the National Land Code and was also published in the

Gazette of the Government of the Federation as P.U. (B) 388/2016 on 30 August 2016:

AND WHEREAS, no objection to the proposal to revoke the whole of the aforesaid reservation as described in the Schedule was received:

NOW THEREFORE, the Land Executive Committee of the Federal Territory of

Kuala Lumpur, in exercise of the powers under section 64 of the National Land Code conferred upon the Government of the Federation and delegated to it as aforesaid, revokes the reservation of the land described in the Schedule:
