PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh seksyen 60 Akta Senjata 1960 [Akta 206], Menteri mengecualikan Rex W. Tillerson, Setiausaha Negara Amerika Syarikat dan pegawainya daripada pemakaian—

subseksyen 3(2) Akta berkenaan dengan senjata dan amunisi yang dimaksudkan semata-mata bagi maksud Lawatan Kerja Rasmi Setiausaha

Negara itu ke Malaysia; dan

(b)

Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 60 of the Arms Act 1960 [Act 206], the Minister exempts Rex W. Tillerson, United States Secretary of State and his officials from the application—

(a)

of subsection 3(2) of the Act in respect of arms and ammunition intended solely for the purpose of the Secretary of State’s Official Working Visit to

Malaysia; and

(b)

of paragraphs 5(1)(a) and (b) of the Act in respect of arms and ammunition intended solely for the purpose of the Secretary of State’s

Official Working Visit to Malaysia.

This Notification is deemed to have effect for the period from 8 August 2017

to 9 August 2017.
