Opening note

Preamble

PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 62(1) Kanun Tanah Negara [Akta 56/1965] sebagaimana yang diubahsuaikan oleh Perintah Wilayah Persekutuan (Pengubahsuaian Kanun Tanah Negara) 1974 [P.U. (A) 56/1974], yang diberikan kepada Kerajaan Persekutuan dan diwakilkan kepadanya melalui Pemberitahuan yang disiarkan dalam P.U. (B) 108/2003 pada 3 Mac 2003, Jawatankuasa Kerja Tanah Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur telah merizabkan tanah yang diperihalkan dalam Jadual bagi maksud awam, iaitu suatu tapak untuk kolam takungan banjir dan telah menetapkan bahawa Ketua Setiausaha Negara hendaklah mempunyai kawalan terhadap tanah rizab itu.

NATIONAL LAND CODE

RESERVATION OF LAND FOR PUBLIC PURPOSE

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 62(1)

of the

National Land Code

[Act 56/1965] as modified by the Federal Territory

(Modification of National Land Code) Order 1974 [P.U. (A) 56/1974], conferred upon the

Government of the Federation and delegated to it by Notification published in

P.U. (B) 108/2003 on 3 March 2003, the Land Executive Committee of the

Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur has reserved the land described in the Schedule for a public purpose, to wit a site for flood impounding reservoir and has designated that the

Chief Secretary to the Government shall have control of the reserved land.
