NOTIFICATION UNDER SECTION 60

Opening note

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 60 of the Arms Act 1960 [Act 206], the Minister exempts the participants of the ASEAN National Army from the application of subsection 3(2) and paragraphs 5(1) (a), (b), (c), (d) and (e) of the Act in respect of arms and ammunition intended solely for the purpose of participation in the 28th ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet (AARM) competition at Shooting Range Terendak, Melaka.

This Notification has effect for the period from 9 November 2018

to 30 November 2018.
