REVISED EDITION (DATE OF OPERATION) ORDER, 1955
Opening note
Preamble
- Whereas the Revised Edition of Ordinance has upon the 25th day of August, 1955, been laid before the Legislative Council: AND WHEREAS by resolution dated the 25th day of August, 1955, the Legislative Council has authorised the Governor to order that the Revised Edition of the Ordinances shall come into force upon such date as he may think fit to order: AND WHEREAS the Edition of the Subsidiary Legislation prepared under the authority of the Ordinance is also completed: NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by subsection (2) of section 8 and subsection (1) of section 12 of the Ordinance, the Governor has ordered that the Revised Edition of Ordinances and the Edition of Subsidiary Legislation shall come into force on the first day of October, 1955.
