Preamble
- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 74 of the Malaysia Act [26/63.] the Yang di-Pertuan Agong with the concurrence of the Yang di-Pertua Negara of Sabah hereby makes the following order: Citation
Section 2
The Public Health Ordinance 1960, of Sabah is hereby modified as in the Schedule hereto.

For “A local authority may, by by-law, provide a penalty by way of a fine for the breach or contravention of any by-law made under this
Ordinance and the Yang di-Pertua Negara, and the Director may, by regulation, provide a penalty by way of fine for breach or contravention of any regulation which the Yang di-Pertua Negara, or the Director as the case may be, is empowered to make under this
Ordinance and such by-law or regulation” substitute “ Any authority empowered to make by-laws or regulations under this Ordinance may by by-law or regulation, as the case may be, provide a penalty by way of a fine for the breach or contravention of any such by-law or regulation and such by-law or regulation”.
