Section 1
These Rules may be cited as the Forest (Prohibition of Export) Rules, 1982 and shall come into force on the 1st March, 1982.

PROHIBITION OF EXPORT OF FOREST PRODUCE

Preamble
- In exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 42 of the Forest Enactment, 1968, the Minister has made the following Rules:-
Section 2
The export of Belian (Eusideroxylon Zwageri and Eusideroxylon Malangangai) in round or converted form is hereby prohibited:
Provided that the Minister may in any particular case grant exemption subject to such terms, conditions and restrictions as the Minister may direct.
