Pada menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 43(1) Enakmen Pentadbiran Agama Islam (Negeri Melaka) 2002 [Enakmen No. 7/2002], Yang di-Pertuan Agong atas nasihat Majlis Agama Islam Negeri Melaka, menubuhkan Mahkamah Rendah Syariah bagi Negeri Melaka sebagaimana yang disebutkan dalam Jadual mulai dari 10 Mei 2017.

In exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 43(1) of the Administration of the Religion of Islam (State of Malacca) Enactment 2002 [Enactment No. 7/2002], the Yang di-Pertuan Agong on the advice of the Majlis Agama Islam Melaka, constitutes the Syariah Subordinate Courts for the State of Melaka as specified in the Schedule with effect from 10 May 2017.
