DECLARATION OF PAPAR IRRIGATION AREA

Preamble

  1. In exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 3 of the Drainage and Irrigation Ordinance, 1956 [Ord. No. 15 of 1956.], and all other powers thereunto him enabling, the Governor in Council has declared that with effect from the 1st day of May, 1962 the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be a irrigation area to be known as the Papar Irrigation Area.

This area of approximately 27,000 acres delineated as Survey Lot No. 7235, Mukim of

Papar, on Plan No. 9901 deposited in the office of the Director of Lands and Surveys at

Jesselton.

Dated at Jesselton, this 3rd day of April, 1962.
