IMPOSITION OF FEE UNDER RULE 12 (3)
Opening note
Preamble
- In exercise of the powers conferred by Rule 12 (3) of the Forest Rules 1969 the Conservator, with the approval of the Minister of Finance, hereby imposes with effect from 18th January, 1979 the payment of a fee at the rates as specified in the second column of the Schedule hereto for the right to take rattan for export in the form as classified in the first column of the said Schedule provided that no fee may be payable by any person if his monthly export value of machined rattan (split) including skin peel, cores, chair cane, manufactured rattan furniture and accessories is twice that of his monthly export value for (c) in the said Schedule. The monthly export value shall be determined by reference to the relevant Customs Orders and export declarations.
