Pada menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 55(2) Enakmen Pentadbiran Agama Islam (Negeri Pulau Pinang) 2004 [Enakmen 2], Yang di-Pertuan Agong, atas nasihat Majlis Agama Islam Pulau Pinang, menubuhkan Mahkamah Tinggi Syariah bagi Negeri Pulau Pinang sebagaimana yang dinyatakan dalam Jadual. Pembatalan 2. Penubuhan Mahkamah Tinggi Syariah yang disiarkan dalam Warta Kerajaan Negeri No. 68 pada 11 April 1996 dibatalkan.

In exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 55(2) of the Administration of the Religion of Islam (State of Penang) Enactment 2004 [Enactment 2], the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, on the advice of Majlis Agama Islam Pulau Pinang, constitutes the Syariah High Court for the State of Penang as specified in the Schedule. 268 [3hb Mac 2011 WARTA KERAJAAN NEGERI PULAU PINANG Revocation 2. The constitution of Syariah High Court as published in State Government Gazette No. 68 on 11 April 1996 is revoked.
