- PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 85(2) Akta Eksais 1976 [Akta 176], Menteri membuat peraturan-peraturan yang berikut: Nama dan permulaan kuat kuasa

dalam
Peraturan-Peraturan ini, dipinda dalam subperaturan 2(1) dengan menggantikan perkataan “Jadual A”
dengan perkataan “bentuk dan mengikut cara yang ditentukan oleh Ketua Pengarah”.

EXCISE (CUSTOMS RULING) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2023
Opening note
Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 85(2) of the Excise Act 1976 [Act 176], the Minister makes the following regulations: Citation and commencement 1.
(1)
These regulations may be cited as the Excise (Customs Ruling)
(Amendment) Regulations 2023.
(2)
These
Regulations are deemed to have come into operation on 1 January 2023.
Amendment of regulation 2 2.
The Excise (Customs Ruling) Regulations 2007 [P.U. (A) 150/2007], which are referred to as the “principal Regulations” in these Regulations, are amended in subregulation 2(1) by substituting for the words “Schedule A”
the words “the form and manner as determined by the Director General”.
Amendment of regulation 3 3.
Regulation 3 of the principal Regulations is amended—
(a)
in paragraph (1)(a), by substituting for the words “Schedule A”
the word “application”; and
(b)
in subregulation (3), by substituting for the words “Schedule B”
the words “the form and manner as determined by the Director General”.
Amendment of regulation 7 4.
Subregulation 7(1) of the principal Regulations is amended by substituting for the words “Schedule C” the words “the form and manner as determined by the Director General”.

The principal Regulations are amended by deleting Schedule A.
Seksyen 6
Deletion of Schedule B
The principal Regulations are amended by deleting Schedule B.
