[P. U. (A) 257/2024] hendaklah, pada setiap masa mempamerkan suatu tanda amaran larangan merokok mengikut spesifikasi sebagaimana yang dinyatakan dalam
Jadual Pertama di mana-mana bahagian yang mudah dilihat pada bangunan atau kenderaan atau di mana-mana laluan masuk kawasan atau tempat itu.

Tanda amaran larangan merokok yang dipamerkan di bawah subperaturan (1) hendaklah mengandungi kod QR yang jelas dan boleh diimbas sebagaimana yang dinyatakan dalam Jadual Kedua.

TANDA AMARAN LARANGAN MEROKOK

Dalam Jadual ini—
“teksi” mempunyai erti yang diberikan kepadanya dalam Jadual Pertama
Akta Pengangkutan Awam Darat 2010 [Akta 715];
“kereta sewa” mempunyai erti yang diberikan kepadanya dalam Jadual Pertama
Akta Pengangkutan Awam Darat 2010; dan
“kenderaan e-hailing” mempunyai erti yang diberikan kepadanya dalam
Jadual Pertama Akta Pengangkutan Awam Darat 2010.

Spesifikasi tanda amaran larangan merokok hendaklah sebagaimana yang berikut:

Papan tanda hendaklah berbentuk segi empat tepat
Saiz minimum papan tanda hendaklah seperti yang berikut:

CONTROL OF SMOKING PRODUCTS FOR PUBLIC HEALTH
(WARNING SIGN OF PROHIBITION OF SMOKING) REGULATIONS 2024
IN exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 18(1)(a) and subsection 53(2)
of the Control of Smoking Products For Public Health Act 2024 [Act 852], the Minister makes the following regulations:
Citation and commencement 1.
(1)
These regulations may be cited as the Control of Smoking Products
For Public Health (Warning Sign of Prohibition of Smoking) Regulations 2024.
(2)
These Regulations come into operation on 1 October 2024.
Duty to display a warning sign of prohibition of smoking 2.
(1)
The proprietor or occupier of any non-smoking area or place declared by the Control of Smoking Products For Public Health (Declaration of Non-Smoking
Area or Place) Order 2024 [P.U. (A) 257/2024] shall, at all times display a warning sign of prohibition of smoking in accordance with the specifications as specified in the First Schedule at any conspicuous part of the building or vehicle or at any entrance to the area or place.
(2)
The warning sign of prohibition of smoking displayed under subregulation (1) shall contain a clear and scannable QR code as specified in the Second Schedule.

FIRST SCHEDULE
[Subregulation 2(1)]
WARNING SIGN OF PROHIBITION OF SMOKING
1.
In this Schedule—
“taxi cab” has the meaning assigned to it in the First Schedule of the
Land Public Transport Act 2010 [Act 715];
“hire car” has the meaning assigned to it in the First Schedule of the
Land Public Transport Act 2010; and
“e-hailing vehicle” has the meaning assigned to it in the First Schedule of the
Land Public Transport Act 2010.

Specifications of a warning sign of prohibition of smoking shall be as follows:

The signboard shall be rectangular in shape
The minimum size of the signboard shall be as follows:
