Nama dan permulaan kuat kuasa
Peraturan-peraturan ini bolehlah dinamakan Peraturan-Peraturan Saraan
Hakim (Pindaan Jadual Pertama dan Kelima) 2002.
Peraturan-Peraturan ini hendaklah disifatkan telah mula berkuat kuasa pada 1 Januari 2002.
Jadual Pertama baru 2.
Akta Saraan Hakim 1971, yang disebut “Akta” dalam Peraturan-Peraturan ini, dipinda dengan menggantikan Jadual Pertama dengan Jadual yang berikut:

JUDGES’ REMUNERATION (AMENDMENT OF FIRST AND FIFTH
SCHEDULES) REGULATIONS 2002

Citation and commencement
These regulations may be cited as the Judges’ Remuneration
(Amendment of First and Fifth Schedules) Regulations 2002.
These Regulations shall be deemed to have come into operation on 1 January 2002.
New First Schedule 2.
The Judges’ Remuneration Act 1971, which is referred to as the “Act” in these Regulations, is amended by substituting for the First Schedule the following

Amendment of Fifth Schedule 3.
The Fifth Schedule to the Act is amended in paragraph 1 by substituting for the figure “9,075.00” the figure “9,982.50”.
