  1. IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 12 of the Election Commission Act 1957 [Act 31], the Yang di-Pertuan Agong makes the following regulations: Citation and commencement

These regulations may be cited as the Election Commission (Amendment of Schedule) Regulations 2007.

These Regulations are deemed to have come into operation on 1 July 2007.

Amendment of Schedule 2.

The Schedule to the Act is amended in paragraph 1—

(a)

by substituting for the figure “9,039.80” the figure “11,164.94”;

(c)

by substituting for the figure “5,547.51” the figure “6,379.64”.
