Preamble

PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh seksyen 12 Akta Suruhanjaya Pilihanraya 1957, Yang di-Pertuan Agong membuat peraturan-peraturan yang berikut:

Seksyen 1

Peraturan-peraturan ini bolehlah dinamakan Peraturan-Peraturan Suruhanjaya Pilihanraya (Pindaan Jadual) (No. 2) 1996 dan hendaklah disifatkan telah mula berkuatkuasa pada 1 Januari 1995.

Seksyen 2

Jadual kepada Akta Suruhanjaya Pilihanraya 1957 adalah dipinda dalam perenggan 1—

(a)

dengan menggantikan angka "6,310" dengan angka "6,460";

(b)

dengan menggantikan angka "4,700" dengan angka "4,850"; dan

(c)

dengan menggantikan angka "3,950" dengan angka "4,040".

ELECTION COMMISSION ACT 1957 ELECTION COMMISSION (AMENDMENT OF SCHEDULE) (No.2) REGULATIONS 1996

Opening note

Preamble

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 12 of the Election Commission Act 1957, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong makes the following regulations:

Seksyen 1

These regulations may be cited as the Election Commission (Amendment of Schedule) (No.2) Regulations 1996 and shall be deemed to have come into force on 1 January 1995.

Seksyen 2

The Schedule to the Election Commission Act 1957 is amended in paragraph 1—

(a)

by substituting for the figures "6,310" the figures "6,460";

(b)

by substituting for the figures "4,700" the figures "4,850"; and

(c)

by substituting for the figures "3,950" the figures "4,040".
