Tempoh pemberian kuasa di bawah perenggan 2

(a)

hendaklah tidak melebihi tempoh permulaan dua tahun bermula dari 22 Disember 2006 dan boleh dipanjangkan bagi tiga tempoh lagi yang berturut-turut tidak melebihi satu tahun setiap satunya, sebagaimana yang diputuskan oleh Bank menurut subseksyen 74(1) Akta; dan

  1. IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 73(2) read together with subsection 73(3) of the Banking and Financial Institutions Act 1989 [Act 372], the Minister, on the recommendation of the Bank makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

This order may be cited as the Banking and Financial Institutions

(Abrar Discounts Berhad) (Assumption of Control) (Amendment) Order 2012.

Order is deemed to have come into operation on 22 December 2011.

Amendment of paragraph 3 2.

The Banking and Financial Institutions (Abrar Discounts Berhad) (Assumption of

Control) Order 2006 [P.U. (A) 432/2006] is amended by substituting for paragraph 3 the following paragraph:

“3.

The authorisation period under paragraph 2

(a)

shall not exceed an initial period of two years commencing from 22 December 2006 and may be extended for three further consecutive periods not exceeding one year each, as may be determined by the Bank pursuant to subsection 74(1) of the Act ;
