PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh seksyen 2 Akta Jalan-Jalan Persekutuan (Pengurusan Persendirian) 1984 [Akta 306], Menteri membuat perintah yang berikut: Nama dan permulaan kuat kuasa

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of the Federal Roads (Private Management) Act 1984 [Act 306], the Minister makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

This Order may be cited as the Federal Roads (Private Management)

(Amendment) 2020.

This Order comes into operation on 1 March 2020.

Amendment of paragraph 2 2.

The Federal Roads (Private Management) (Collection of Tolls) (West Coast

Expressway (Taiping-Banting)) Order 2020 [P.U. (A) 14/2020], which is referred to as the “principal Order” in this Order, is amended in paragraph 2—

(a)

in subparagraph (1):

(i)

by substituting for the words “column (2)” wherever appearing the words “column (3)”;

(ii)

by inserting after the words “column (1)” the words “according to the period specified in column (2)”;

(iii)

by substituting for subsubparagraphs (a) and (b) the following subsubparagraphs:

Class 1: Vehicles having two axles and three or four wheels (excluding taxis and buses)

Class 2: Vehicles having two axles and five or six wheels (excluding buses)

For the purpose of calculating the number of axles and wheels of a vehicle, the axles and wheels of any trailer towed by the vehicle shall be calculated as part of the axles and wheels of the vehicles.”.
