- Pada menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh seksyen 41 Akta Optik 1991 [Akta 469], Menteri, selepas berunding dengan Majlis Optik Malaysia, membuat perintah yang berikut:

Jadual Kedua kepada Akta Optik 1991 dipinda bagi negeri Malaysia dengan memasukkan selepas butiran “Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia” dan butiran yang berhubungan dengannya dengan butiran yang berikut:

Preamble
- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 41 of the Optical Act 1991 [Act 469], the Minister, after consulting the Malaysian Optical Council, makes the following order:

This order may be cited as the Optical (Amendment of Second Schedule)
Order 2008.
Seksyen 2
Amendment of Second Schedule
The Second Schedule to the Optical Act 1991 is amended for the country of Malaysia by inserting after item “Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia” and the item relating to it the following item:
