Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 12(2) of the Medical Act 1971 [Act 50], the Minister, after consulting the Council, makes the following order: Citation 1. This order may be cited as the Medical (Amendment of Second Schedule) (No. 2) Order 2013. Amendment of Second Schedule 2. The Medical Act 1971 is amended in the Second Schedule by inserting after the item “Ceylon” and the details appearing against it the following item: Country in which qualification is granted Name of Institution granting qualification Description of qualification “China Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (Five-Year Program) (Recognized from 19 March 2013 to 18 March 2016) Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University Bachelor of Medicine (Five-Year Program) (Recognized from 19 March 2013 to 18 March 2016) Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (Six-Year Program) (Recognized from 19 March 2013 to 18 March 2016) Doctor of Medicine (Eight-Year Program) (Recognized from 19 March 2013 to 18 March 2016).” P.U.
