Preamble
- PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh seksyen 89 Akta Tandatangan Digital 1997 [Akta 562], Menteri membuat perintah yang berikut: Nama dan permulaan kuat kuasa

Pengecualian
(1)
Pihak berkuasa pemerakuan berlesen yang Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia merupakan pelanggannya dikecualikan daripada kehendak di bawah subseksyen 59(2)
Akta berhubung dengan perakuan yang dikeluarkan bagi maksud mengesahbetulkan tandatangan digital yang ditambah pada suatu pasport yang dikeluarkan di bawah Akta
Pasport 1966 [Akta 150].

Walau apa pun subperenggan (1), pihak berkuasa pemerakuan berlesen tidak boleh mengeluarkan apa-apa perakuan bagi maksud mengesahbetulkan tandatangan digital yang ditambah pada suatu pasport bagi apa-apa tempoh yang melebihi enam tahun dari tarikh pengeluaran.

DIGITAL SIGNATURE (EXEMPTION) ORDER 2013
Opening note
Preamble
- IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 89 of the Digital Signature Act 1997 [Act 562], the Minister makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.
(1)
The licensed certification authority to which the Immigration
Department of Malaysia is a subscriber is exempted from the requirement under subsection 59(2) of the Act in relation to a certificate issued for the purpose of verifying the digital signature affixed on a passport issued under the Passports Act 1966
[Act 150].
(2)
Notwithstanding subparagraph (1), the licensed certification authority shall not issue any certificate for the purpose of verifying the digital signature affixed on a passport for any period exceeding six years from the date of issuance.
