PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 6(3) Ordinan Perkapalan Saudagar 1952 [Ord. 70/1952], Menteri mengubah had pelabuhan bagi Pasir Gudang dalam Negeri Johor yang ditetapkan dalam Pemberitahuan Undang-Undang No. 73 tahun 1953 [L.N. 73/1953]. Pengubahan had pelabuhan 2. Pemberitahuan Undang-Undang No. 73 tahun 1953 dipinda dalam Jadual Pertama, berkenaan dengan Negeri Johor, dengan menggantikan had pelabuhan bagi Pasir Gudang dengan had pelabuhan yang berikut:

  3. First column Second column “21A. Pasir Gudang Port ... The areas enclosed by the following imaginary lines:

From a point of the coast at the southernmost tip of Tanjung Datuk or

Tanjung Penyusop at Latitude 1° 22.20’

Longitude 104° 17.05’ East, directly to;

East, thence following the boundary of the Malaysia territorial waters until reaching the eastern side of the Johore Causeway to the coastline eastwards and returning to position referred to in subitem (A), including the

Johore River up to the bridge where the

Johor Bahru to Kota Tinggi road crosses the Johore River and all other navigable rivers and tributaries flowing into these waters and all piers, jetties, wharves, landing places, quays, docks and other similar works whether within or without the high water mark and any portion of shore or banks within 45.72 metres of the high water subject to any rights of private property therein.”.

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 6(3) of the Merchant Shipping Ordinance 1952 [Ord. 70/1952], the Minister alters the port limits for Pasir Gudang in the State of Johore as defined in the Legal Notification No. 73 of 1953 [L.N. 73/1953]. Alteration of port limits 2. The Legal Notification No. 73 of 1953 is amended in the First Schedule, in respect of the State of Johore, by substituting for the port limits for Pasir Gudang the following port limits:
