Section 11

Save as provided in section 22, the Rules Committee appointed under the

Courts of Judicature Act 1964 [Act 91] may make rules* of court in regard to any matter to be prescribed under this Ordinance and providing generally for matters of procedure, fees and generally for carrying this Ordinance into effect.

Rules of court made by virtue of subsection (1) of this section may provide for applications for adoption orders being heard and determined otherwise than in open court.

For the purpose of any application for an adoption order, the Court shall, subject to any rules of court made by virtue of subsection (1) of this section, appoint some person or body to act as guardian ad litem of the infant upon the hearing of the application with the duty of safeguarding the interests of the infant before the Court and having for that purpose such powers and duties as may be prescribed by such rules.
