8. Amendment of section 5

Section 5 of the Ordinance is amended—

(a)

in subsection (1)—

(i)

by inserting after the word “may” the words “by petition verified by his own affidavit”; and

(ii)

in paragraph (a), by substituting for the words

“subsection (2) of section 4” the words

“subsection 4(2)”; and

(b)

in subsection (2), by substituting for the words “Sabah

Law Association” the words “Law Society”.
