Section 4
Prohibition of slaughtering, selling or keeping
(1)
No person shall, except with the written permission of the Director and under the supervision of veterinary authority –
(a)
slaughter or cause to be slaughtered any swine which has been confirmed to be infected with the disease in Pitas District; or
(b)
sell or keep or cause to be kept any carcass of swine that has been confirmed to be infected with the disease in Pitas District.
(2)
The Director or any veterinary authority may prescribe any condition in the written permission issued under subparagraph (1) and such condition shall be complied by any person who slaughter, sell or keep the swine or its carcass.
