Section 58
(1)
Section 4 of the Companies Act 1965 is amended by inserting immediately after the words "1973" in the definition of "banking corporation" the words "and an Islamic bank as defined in the Islamic Banking Act 1983".
(2)
Section 218 of the Companies Act 1965 is amended by substituting for paragraph (j) of subsection (1) the following:
"Act 102.
Act 276.
(j)
the company has held a licence under the Banking Act 1973 or the Islamic Banking Act 1983, and that licence has been revoked or has expired and has not been renewed; or".
