s 20New section 28b

The principal Act is amended by inserting after section 28a the following section:

“Supply agreement with consumer 28b. (1) A person who requested for a supply of electricity from a licensee after the date of coming into operation of this Act shall enter into an agreement with the licensee for the supply of electricity on such terms and conditions as may be specified in the agreement before the electricity is supplied.

(2)

An agreement referred to in subsection (1) shall be in the form and substance as approved by the Commission.”.
