s 4Amendment of section 70

Subsection 70(2) of the principal Act is amended—

(a)

in paragraph (a), by deleting the word “and” at the end of the paragraph;

(b)

in paragraph (b), by substituting for a full stop at the end of the paragraph the words “; and”; and

(c)

by inserting after paragraph (b) the following paragraph:

“(c) to the local authority or the relevant statutory authority a geotechnical report for erection involving slope with a gradient more than twenty-five degrees and total vertical height more than ten metres which the report shall be verified by the Accredited Checker registered with the Board of Engineers under the Registration of Engineers

Act 1967 [Act 138].”.
