s 9Amendment of section 12a

Section 12a of the principal Act is amended—

(a)

by substituting for the shoulder note the following shoulder note:

“Ex-parte application for interim protection order”;

(b)

in paragraph (a), by substituting for the word “applicant”

the word “victim”;

(c)

in paragraph (b), by substituting for the word “applicant’s”

the word “victim’s”; and

(d)

in paragraph (c), by substituting for the word “applicant”

the word “victim”.
