s 34Amendment of Schedule 3

Schedule 3 to the principal Act is amended—

(a)

by inserting after paragraph 38 the following paragraph:

“38a. (1) Paragraphs 39 and 40 shall apply where a company disposes of an asset in respect of industrial building to a unit trust in relation to which an initial or annual allowance has been made or would have been made, if claimed, to the company.

(2)

For the purpose of this paragraph, “unit trust” has the same meaning assigned to it under section 61a.”; and

(b)

in paragraph 40 by inserting after the word “38,” the word “38a,”.
