Section 15

Section 60i of the principal Act is amended—

(a)

in subsection (1), by substituting for the words “Islamic securities” wherever appearing the word “sukuk”; and

(b)

in subsection (4)—

(i)

by deleting the definition of “Islamic securities”;

and

(ii)

in the definition of “special purpose vehicle”—

(A)

by substituting for the words “Islamic securities” the word “sukuk”; and

(B)

by substituting for the words “approved by the Securities Commission or Labuan

Financial Services Authority” the words

“lodged with the Securities Commission or approved by the Labuan Financial

Services Authority.”.
