s 238Emission from non-standard equipment or device

(1)

A person who, knowingly or without reasonable excuse, causes a radio emission from any non-standard equipment or device commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding fifty thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or to both.

For the purposes of this Chapter, “non-standard equipment or device” means any equipment or device that does not comply with the technical or procedural standards prepared or determined under this Act.
