Playing of the abridged version
of National Anthem Act 1968 (Revised 2018)

Section 4
(1)
The abridged version shall be played as a salute on all official occasions for—
(a)
the Raja Permaisuri Agong; and
(b)
the Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Malacca, Penang, Sabah and Sarawak.
(2)
The abridged version shall be played on any other occasion as the Yang di-Pertuan Agong may by order prescribe.
