Preamble

An Act to amend the Kootu Funds (Prohibition) Act 1971. [ ] ENACTED by the Parliament of Malaysia as follows: Short title and commencement

Section 1

(2)

This Act comes into operation on a date to be appointed by the Minister by notification in the Gazette.

Amendment of section 3

Section 2

The Kootu Funds (Prohibition) Act 1971 [Act 28] is amended in section 3—

(a)

by substituting for the words “five thousand” the words

“five hundred thousand”; and

(b)

by substituting for the word “three” the word “ten”.
