Section 36

in any way assaults, obstructs, hinders, threatens or molest the officer of customs in the discharge of his functions under this Act or the regulations made under this Act; or

fails to give reasonable facilities or assistance to any officer of customs in the exercise of his functions under this Act or the regulations made under this Act, commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be punished with imprisonment for a term not less than six months and not exceeding three years or to a fine not exceeding five hundred thousand ringgit or to both.
