Members of the Council
The Council shall consist of the following members:
(a)	 the Minister as Chairman;
(b)	 the Secretary General of the Ministry of *Higher Education or his representative;
(c)	 the Director General of *Higher Education or his representative;
(d)	 the Secretary General of the Ministry of Finance or his representative;
(e)	 the Director General of the Economic Planning Unit of the Prime Minister’s Department or his representative;

(f)	 the Attorney General or his representative;
(g)	 three Vice-Chancellors of any of the Universities and
University Colleges established under the Universities and University Colleges Act 1971;
(h)	 not more than two persons who are the chief executive officers of any private higher educational institution;
and
(i)	 not more than three persons who, because of their knowledge and experience, would in the opinion of the
Minister be of assistance to the Council.
