40. Unauthorized solemnization of marriages
Feedback & supportAny person who, not being authorized thereto under this Act, solemnizes or purports to solemnize any marriage, shall be guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding ten years and to a fine not exceeding fifteen thousand ringgit.
