Section 18
(1)
The Director General may, in writing, delegate any of his functions or powers under this Act, except his power of delegation, subject to such conditions, limitations or restrictions as he thinks fit, to any public officer and the public officer to whom those functions are delegated may perform those functions in the same manner and with the same effect as if those functions had been conferred on him under this Act.
(2)
Delegation made under this section shall not preclude the Director General himself from performing or exercising the functions or powers so delegated.
