Section 12
Section 33 of the principal Act is amended—
(a)
by renumbering the existing section as subsection (1);
(b)
in subsection (1) as renumbered, by inserting after the word “bid” the words “or offer”; and
(c)
by inserting after subsection (1) as renumbered the following subsection:
“(2) Any person who contravenes subsection (1)
shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine of not less than fifty thousand ringgit but not more than five hundred thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years or to both.”.
