Section 19
(1)
No person shall import for permanent storage any carbon dioxide which is obtained through carbon capture outside of
Malaysia unless the carbon dioxide complies with the carbon dioxide stream acceptance criteria specified in section 28.
(2)
Any person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding one million ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years or to both.
