Section 2

The National Registration Act 1959 [Act 78], which is referred to as the “principal Act” in this Act, is amended in section 2 by inserting before the definition of “Director General” the following definition:

‘ “biometric data” means any personal data resulting from technical processing relating to the physical, physiological or behavioural characteristics of a person;’.
