s 103Prohibition to teach

(1)

Subject to subsection (2), no person shall teach in an educational institution unless he is registered as a teacher under this

Act.

(2)

Subsection (1) shall not apply—

70 Laws of Malaysia ACT 550

(a)

to a person who is a member of the Education Service teaching in government or government-aided educational institution;

(b)

to a person to whom a permit to teach has been issued under section 114; and

(c)

to a pupil in an educational institution for the training of teachers established by and under the direct control of the

Minister.
