Lowest pension, etc., for full service
of Pensions Adjustment Act 1980
Notwithstanding any other written law to the contrary but subject to subsection 3(1), where any pension or other benefit granted and adjusted under this Act or granted under any other written law and adjusted under this
Act is calculated on the basis of reckonable service of not less than twenty-five years —
(a)
the lowest amount of pension or derivative pension payable after adjustment shall not be less than one hundred and eighty ringgit per month;
(b)
the lowest amount of retiring allowance or derivative retiring allowance payable after adjustment shall not be less than three-quarters of one hundred and eighty ringgit per month.
(2)
The Yang di-Pertuan Agong may by order in the Gazette increase the lowest amount of pension or other benefit payable pursuant to this section.
