s 254Contravention of court order

(1)

Any person who contravenes an order of the court under subsection 251(1), 252(3) or section 253 commits an offence and shall, on conviction be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding eight years or to a fine not exceeding twenty-five million ringgit or to both.

(2)

Subsection (1) does not affect the powers of the court in relation to the punishment of contempt of court.
