s 141Pre-contractual disclosure and representations, and remedies for misrepresentations

Schedule 9 sets out the pre-contractual duty of disclosure and representations for contracts of takaful in Part 2, and the remedies for misrepresentations relating to contracts of takaful in Part 3.

Any person who contravenes the duty of disclosure under paragraph 11 of Schedule 9 commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years or to a fine not exceeding ten million ringgit or to both.
