Section 1

This Act comes into operation on a date to be appointed by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong by notification in the Gazette.

Notwithstanding subsection (2), section 6 of this Act comes into operation in a State on such date as the

Yang di-Pertuan Agong may, with the consent of the Ruler or the

Yang di-Pertua Negeri, as the case may be, appoint by notification in the Gazette.
