This Act may be cited as the Energy Commission
(Amendment) Act 2025.
(2)
This Act comes into operation on a date to be appointed by the Minister by notification in the Gazette.

Preamble
- An Act to amend the Energy Commission Act 2001. [ ] ENACTED by the Parliament of Malaysia as follows: Short title and commencement
Section 2
Amendment of section 14
The Energy Commission Act 2001 [Act 610] is amended in subsection 14(1)—
(a)
in paragraph (n), by deleting the word “and” at the end of the paragraph; and
Energy Commission (Amendment) Act 2025

(b)
by inserting after paragraph (n) the following paragraph:
“(na) to exercise regulatory functions in respect of the importation of electricity and exportation of electricity; and”.
